Things to Consider Taking on a Run
A full tank of gas with TOP DOWN
A copy of the day's itinerary and maps
Enough cash to participate in the day's events
Cell booster cables and some club member's cell #'s
Sunblock
A small cooler for the trunk with water/drinks/snacks
A hat and sunglasses
A bandana for wearing around neck or forehead (a must for hot conditions!)
Paper and pen for notetaking
Ear plugs (if you need them)
A light jacket and jogging pants in case it gets a little chilly by day's end
A blanket in case there's a picnic or you just want to stretch out at a rest stop
Camera/Binoculars
A roll of toilet paper (you never know...)
Good boots in case you get out and hike
For the ladies, a fanny pack or club lanyard instead of a pocketbook
If you have a medical condition, be sure to remember your medications (and it wouldn't hurt to tell some of the group about it, too)
