Title: My 2006 Odometer reads 888888. What is wrong?
Post by: Pat Flanagan on December 22, 2017, 07:52:39 PM
My 2006 Miata, GT, Automatic, odometer reads 888888 and trip meter is at 888.8. Anyone know how to fix it?
Car has about 118,000 miles. Tried disconnecting battery, no help. Maybe needs a new cluster?

a new cluster is exactly what I found too in the internet - see the links. However, I would first try to check all the fuses and here especially the light fuses. If this wouldnt help I would try to get the read out of the computer just going to Auto zone or so to get it done cheap. If all this wouldnt give you a clue or doesnt help, I would bring it to a Mazda dealer or better electronic car specialist directly. Sorry to be not on more help. Best, Michael
